Educational Media and Technology is a graduate level university course which helps educators expand their educational knowledge in different ways. It helps teachers use technology in their teaching. Not just because our world is developing technologically, but also because it will make the teacher's life easier. Moreover, it will also make the classroom more vibrant and the students will be more interested and engaged. The course emphasizes different methods where technology and teaching are integrated. For instance, the course teaches you how to design a Web Quest if you wish to assign a group-work activity where students are required to do some type of research. Web Quests are a type of lesson format where all the information that the learners work with comes from the web. Furthermore, the course teaches you how to design a technical poster. Such posters can be used for years as a great visual aid in the classroom. You could design them on any topic and the size you want. Not to forget that the course also teaches you how to keep up with certain personal reflections through designing a blog. Blogs are very entertaining and fun too.
